Hamblin ties for 4th at Districts.
 

Senior Brock Hamblin shot an 81 to tie for 4th place overall at the PIAA District IV Class AA championships at Eagles Mere Country Club on Thursday, October 1.

Hamblin was +10 on the day to tie with Montoursville's Peyton Mussina and Bloomsburg's Ben Sohosky. He was +8 through the front 9 and +2 on the back 9.

Wellsboro finished 8th overall with a combined score of 429. Lewisburg (346) won the team championship followed by Montoursville (356), Midd-West (366), North Penn-Mansfield (376), Central Columbia (380), Cowanesque Valley (405), and Lourdes Regional (416).

Sophomore Andrew Merriman shot 108, sophomore Reece Servatius finished with 119, sophomore Blake Hamblin carded a 121, and freshman Hayden Zuchowski rounded out the team with a 129.

The Hornets return to regular season play on Monday, October 5 at Tomasso's Country Club.
