Mansfield golfers pick up win at Corey Creek.

Mansfield picked won the NTL match at their home course Corey Creek on Tuesday.

It was the first time this year someone other then Athens won and it closes the gap in the NTL as Athens falls to 17-1 and Mansfield improves to 15-3.

The match was shortened due to rain so just 13 holes counted and scores were done relative to par.

Mansfield had a total of +48 as J.P. Shaw shot three-over, Ryan Campbell (+11), Jarrod Burd (+16) and Josh Everetts (+18). Carl Dinger was at +24 and Patrick Ross at +29.

Athens shot a +57 total. Zach Sitzman shot +9, Patrick Cole shot +11, D.J. Springstead shot +18 and Jacob Aquilio shot +19. Sam Rockwell shot +20 and Ryan Kennedy shot +28.

Towanda was at +71. Nick Innocenzo shot 4-over and Michael Johnson was at +13, while Mitchell Shoemaker shot +21 and Chandler Dunn rounded out the top four at +33.

Zack Lantz shot +37 and Ryan Chilson was at +39.

NEB finished fourth at +90. Nate Watkins shot +19, Michael Wallitsch shot +22, Nik Geiser was at +24 and Jared Harris was at +25.

Sawyer Russell shot +37 and Nate Chilson shot +40.

Wellsboro was at +92 with Brett Kendrick tying Shaw for medalist honors at +3. Ryan Reese shot +22, Tyler Kennedy shot +27 and Stone Alexander and Kyle Reese each shot +40.

Northern Tioga and Sayre each shot 113 with Sayre taking sixth on fifth golfer score.

Ryan Murrelle led Sayre at +12, followed by Jordan Buck (+29), Aaron Wilhelm (+34), Tom Cook (+38), Jakeb Wressler (+39) and Tyler Colburn shot +50.

Northern Tioga was led by Nick Cevette at +11, followed by Caleb Fitzwater at +32, Riley thompson shot +33, Bryce Ianson shot +37 and Marc McCall shot +46. Alex Abbott shot +50.
