Towanda golf second at meet with PHAC schools.

The Towanda golf team took on schools from the PHAC in a meet at Eagles Mere on Tuesday, finishing second.

Warrior Run won at 336, followed by Towanda at 366, South at 380, Benton at 385 and Bloomsburg at 402.

Towanda's Nick Innocenzo shot an 86, fourth best overall, and teammate Michael Johnson shot an 87, tied for fifth best.

Mitch Shoemaker shot a 92 and Chandler Dunn shot a 101.

Zack Lantz shot a 104 and Ryan Chilson shot 114.

Vincent Bender of Warrior Run won medalist honors at 82.

Patrick Myers of Sullivan County shot 111 and the Griffins had three players play nine-hole exhibitions. Sierra Karge shot a 55, Jeff Jordan shot a 60 and Liz Popadich shot a 74.

Towanda and Northeast Bradford host Montrose for a nine-hole match at Towanda Country Club on Thursday beginning at 4 p.m. The Black Knights are 23-7 on the year.
